In this study 49 cases with Legg-Calve-Perthes (avasculer femoral head necrosis) were evaluated radiological and ethiotogically.
The affected dogs were examined and evaluated in view of age, breed, gender and unilateral or bilateral location of the lesion. Femoral head, neck and acetabular changes were evaluated in symmetrical ventrodorsal (VD) radiographs. Disease were seen most commonly at 12 months age. Legg-Calve-Perthes were encounter mostly in terrier. In radiologic evaluation; it is determined that 10 femoral head effected slightly and 44 femoral head were effected severly. Femoral head excision were done to 20 cases.
