In this research, what is tried to found out is; the consumer market intermediary's margins and share's of the margins within the sale price of slaughtered sheeps and sheep meat marketing at Istanbul Livestock Market for 1996-1999 period.
İn this period for sheeps, the whole-sale margins within sale price from 1996 to 1999 for each year as follows: %, 6.28, 5.53, 6.45 and 5.34: Retails margins for the same period as follows: %. 10.28, 11.89, 14.29 and 15.96.
According to this findings it is determined that; in 1996-1999 period, for sheeps, whole-sale margins average share within the sale price 5.9%, and from 1996 to 1999 decreased 15%. For retails whole-sale margins average share within the sale price is 13.11%. and from 1996 to 1999, incrased 55%. Finaly. total margin's average w ithin the sale price is 19.01% and incrased 29% for the same period.
