OXYURID INFECTION WITH COELOMIC EFFUSION IN A GREEN IGUANA (IGUANA IGUANA)

The material of the present study was a 18-mounths old green iguana having anorexia and lethargy. Coelomic and throcal fluid determined by physical and radiological examinations and examples taken with punction. As a result it was determined that the green iguana had coelomic effusion. Owner mentioned that the iguana had mucus in feces. The iguana were subjected to fecal examination and Alaeuris sp. or Ozolamius sp. was detected. After the specific tratment for the diseases, health condition of the animal has improved.
