In this study, it was aimed to determine the effects of adding different levels of (0. 30 and 60 ppm] ZÜK bacitracin (ALBAC, 15%) on total protein, albumin, and level of Ca, P, Mg, Cu and Zn of blood serum and also on Cu and Zn level of liver and kidney tissues of Kıvırcık lambs which were just weaned.

A total of 24 twin-male Kıvırcık lambs which were weaned at 3 months of age. Lambs were divided into 3 groups, one control: two experimental groups, each of comprised 8 lambs. The trial was ended in 56 days. During the trial lambs in control and experimental groups fed good quality of dry grass and lamb grower feeds as ad libitum.

It was observed that supplementing the Kıvırcık lamb diets with 30 ppm of zinc bacitracin raised the blood serum inorganic phosphorus (Pi) level and especially Cu level of liver and kidney tissues (p<0.05); whereas blood total protein, albumin. Ca. Mg. Cu and Zn level of liver and kidney was not effected.
