Residues in environment and in the food sourced from pesticides, which are used in agriculture and animal health, could bring a potential risk for public health. Especially pesticide residues over acceptable daily intake (ADI) level could raise health problems like acute, chronic toxicities, teratogenic, mutagenic and carcinogenic effects. Controlled use of pesticides and increased level of inspections and controls are the primary precautions in order to prevent those health problems.
