Humans who were once considering animals as gods, during the zoomorphic phase, have mostly developed mythological paterns related to mammalians as a result of the geographical, social and economical conditions. Meantime, the rich imagination of human being has created extraordinary and metaphysical animals bearing traces of other various animals. Beside these mythological beasts, humans have designed rich mythological paterns by using their mostly related animals such as reptiles, avians and fish. In this study, some mythological animals such as reptiles, avians and fish have been considered on their way in the eastern and the western mythologies, and a new evaluation on the mythological base of human and animal relations and human thoughts until the monotheist religions" period were carried out.
