Cheyletietla biakei infestation was observed in a 3-years-old persian cat, which was brought to the Parasitology Department of Veterinary Faculty of Istanbul University in December 2001. The cat was suffering from itch and had excessive dandruff flaking on the skin. Its owner also had pruritic dermatitis on his arms.
